Brandenburg Gate

I stood on the east side of the Brandenburg Gate in the evening, when the sun drops behind the quadriga. Seen from here the gate is only a shape: six columns, the chariot and four horses on the roof.

In silhouette you lose the detail and keep the outline everyone knows. I moved until the sun sat in the gap beside the horses.
