Monster Building

I stood in the courtyard and pointed the camera straight up. From there the blocks close in on every side, air-conditioners and laundry stacked floor on floor, until the sky is a narrow strip of blue.

Thousands of people live inside these walls. I wanted the feeling of standing at the bottom of it: nothing in the frame but the building and the little light it lets in.
